Bill Crouch is involved in research intended to produce a better understanding of the seasonal movements of amphibians which are using certain vernal pools in southern Rhode Island. At these sites, he is also attempting to test the accuracy of the Calling Amphibian Survey of the North American Amphibian Monitoring Program. Follow the links to the left for his story of what brought him to this project, his field methods and some very preliminary results.
