"Big Night" in Ipswich Doyon School, grade 5, Ipswich, MA - 2006
"Big Night" is one of the nights in early spring when heavy rains brings mole salamanders and wood frogs out of winter "hibernation" to venture to vernal pools to breed. This class visits nearby vernal pools throughout the year and has a program to involve students and the public on migration nights - Big Night.
This poster reflects student research and their own activities on these cold, rainy nights.
