Thoreau Botanicals
Thoreau School, grade 4, Concord, MA - 2006
Students selected plants known to Henry David Thoreau for their poster. They illustrated each plant and wrote a haiku to accompany the art. The Thoreau School is within the historical Walden Woods and adjacent to protected portions of Walden Woods. These plants are observed in the schoolyard and class trips into the Walden Woods.

This poster is one of a series sponsored by the Walden Woods Project.
