Invasive plants (and other organisms) are a serious problem for our environment. In some locations, invasives are so abundant that many people consider them part of "nature".
Students in the fourth grade at the Thoreau School regularly visit the Assabet River at the edge of the school grounds to observe, journal, and discover. Subsequent research, writing, and drawing produced the panels for this poster. |
