Life In And Around A Vernal Pool

 This poster is the culmination of a vernal pool unit. Over 100 students in five classes choose an organism, and then research, write and draw. The work of all the students is distributed over three posters. Only one is presented here.This class studies (and visits) vernal pools as a component of the surrounding ecosystem. Thus they include reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, plants and native as well as migratory birds. Very impressive. |
