Human interactions with wildlife are generally bad for the wildlife. Household pets are a problem for many forms of wildlife. Cats which are allowed to roam outdoors kill amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals in great numbers. Sometimes the pets are harmed when they eat various toxic amphibians.
